Who is responsible
This website is run by Port Perfection. For anything related to your personal data, write to [email protected].
What this site does not do
This site uses no cookies, no analytics, no advertising and no tracking tools. Fonts and audio are served from this site itself, so simply reading a page does not send your data to other companies.
Data that is processed, and why
Visiting the site. The site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. To deliver pages and protect the site against attacks, Cloudflare processes technical data such as your IP address, browser type and the page requested. This is based on legitimate interest in keeping the site secure and working.
Writing by email. If you email, your address, name and message are used only to reply. They are kept for as long as the conversation needs, and deleted when you ask, unless the law requires otherwise. This is based on legitimate interest in answering you.
Buying the audiobook. Purchases are handled by Gumroad, which acts as the seller of record, collects any VAT due and processes payment through its payment providers. Gumroad collects what is needed for the order, such as your name, email, country and payment details. Card details are never seen or stored by Port Perfection. Port Perfection receives your name, email, country and order details to deliver the audiobook, handle support and keep the records required by tax law. This is based on the contract and on legal obligations. Gumroad and its payment providers also process data under their own privacy policies.
Links to other sites
Links to Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Gumroad and Google only take you there when you click them. From then on, those sites apply their own privacy policies.
Transfers outside Europe
Some providers may process data outside the European Economic Area. When that happens, it relies on safeguards recognised by EU law, such as adequacy decisions or standard contractual clauses.
Your rights
You can ask to access, correct or delete your data, to restrict or object to its use, and to receive it in a portable format. Write to [email protected] and you will get an answer within one month. You also have the right to complain to the Portuguese data protection authority, the CNPD (www.cnpd.pt), or to the authority in your own country.
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version will be published here with a new date.
